Win my $50 Korean Cosmetics Giveaway!

I’ve been meaning to do a giveaway for quite some time, but I wanted to make it a good one. I did a quick poll on the Skin & Tonics Facebook page last week to ask readers if they would rather win a gift card for Sephora, or for my favorite Asian cosmetics shop. I was surprised and delighted that the Asian cosmetics option came out the winner by a long shot!

$50 Korean Cosmetics Giveaway - Skin & Tonics & W2Beauty

I now present to you the chance to win a $50 gift voucher for W2Beauty, a huge online Korean Beauty shop that has recently become my favorite Asian skincare and cosmetics store. W2Beauty carries all the big Korean beauty brands – TonyMoly, Missha, Etude House, Laneige, The Face Shop, Skinfood, and so many more.

If you’re new to the Korean Cosmetics world and aren’t sure what you’d buy with $50, don’t worry! I am happy to make suggestions. Also, the customer service at W2Beauty is spectacular – I’m sure the owner herself would be happy to give you some input on what’s new and trending in South Korea right now.

  11. Greetings,

really glad I came across your website (a fellow member of a FB group gave us the link to your post regarding Asian layering routine and it’s helped a lot + I discovered W2Beauty and it just made my day :D… Looking forward to payday lol).

I liked your page on Facebook (Poulepondeuse Coakes).

(I will probably share it too, but not publicly, only to some other Korean make-up addicts I know, so there will be no link, but I can’t keep this opportunity to myself :p)

Great great great blog, thank you for all the reviews and advice. I’m drooling when I see some of the products here, wish I lived in the US right now…

I can’t even count the ways your comment just made my day! First of all, I’m so glad you enjoy my blog! I work really hard on it so it makes really happy when I hear that someone is getting some value from it. Secondly, I’m really happy that Asian layering routine post is making the rounds. When I first got into Asian skin care, I had the absolute hardest time finding a really straightforward explanation of how to do it and what products are involved. My hope is that I’ve saved others from the same fate. Less time figuring out how to use the products means more time shopping for them, and that’s WAY more fun.

I see from your blog url that you live in France. Is that accurate? I know France has some pretty amazing skin care lines too. If you have any you would would recommend, I would love to hear about them!

Thank you for reading! And please, share away! The more the merrier. 🙂

      • I’m indeed French and French ladies are slowly coming to Korean cosmetics, mostly because of Erborain BB Cream, which got us aware that there are great asian cosmetic brands.

Your review of layering is definitely going right into my top 5 posts because of the time saved. I did order a few asian cosmetics and I was a bit puzzled by some of the textures, as we seem to use the same name for two different kinds of products (I’m thinking about toners for example).
Your post (or the lady in my Facegroup’s link to your post) came exactly at the right time to save me both time and money. Plus, I discovered W2Beauty thanks to your blog (I did mention it in the email I wrote them) and I just love this site (and the lady is sooooooo nice). So it’s a double thank you 🙂

As for the French skin care lines, my favorite at the moment is Vichy, because of their Idealia moisture cream. I’ve never been much into face creams before and all the ones I had tested were probably inadequate, as they were either too rich or not rich enough (combination skins are such a blessing -_-), but this one is between cream and jelly, just the right amount of moisture and it did clarify my skin (or beam it, I don’t know: the result being a luminous skin BEFORE amake-up). It’s the first ever face cream I finished 🙂

Lierac also released a new product family called Lierac Prescriptions. They’re not glam at all (…) but their Solution Keratolytique has the highest hyaluronic acid content on the French cosmetics market and it does make a difference after a few days use

You may also want to check Nuxe, Caudalie, L’Occitane, La Roche Posay, Garancia (these brands are only to be found in pharmacies).
For the Girly/Funny ones, there’s Bourgeois, Yves Rocher, Club des Créateurs de Beauté,… 🙂

I entered a swap group because I’m interested in discovering brands from all over the world. I’m working on my first swap at the moment and it’s very exciting to try and figure out what French brands to send my correspondant so that it’s a real discovery for her 🙂

Thank you again very very much for this blog, my new place to hang out :))

  12. Thank you so much for this amazing givewayyy ! (i’m french, sorry for my langage). <3 julia_digiovanni@yahoo.fr

    • Kerry

You’re welcome! And your language skills are top notch! My French, on the other hand, isn’t even recognizable. It may possibly be the worst French ever spoken. I keep trying, though!

  13. Thank you so much for doing this giveaway! I love reading your reviews >.<
